From TheCR: The 2011 State of Community Management Report: Best Practices from Practitioners
Last year social business came of age as organizations got serious about executing in a new, more interactive and collaborative way. These organizations understand that using social technologies successfully requires both business process adaptation and people that understand how to manage these new social environments – at both a tactical and a strategic level. The conversation is no longer primarily about technology but about doing business effectively in a new communications environment. Community management is a critical element of managing networked environments effectively.

Power User, versus Influencer, vs Super Fan

How to create a successful Power User Program?
What is the difference between a Power User, versus Influencer, vs Super Fans? How do you distinguish each group?
Let's start off with a few references...
- "Also we're hopeful that the super influencer demographic will become a bit more representative, over time. Here at ReadWriteWeb we try to encourage the use of the very latest web technologies in The Real World - for example see our overview of the recent DEMOfall08 conference, which we felt showcased some promising real world applications. We hope that trend continues too." (Are You a Super Influencer?) http://www.readwriteweb.com/archives/super_influencer.php
- "Influencer marketing, (also Influence Marketing) is a form of marketing that has emerged from a variety of recent practices and studies, in which focus is placed on specific key individuals (or types of individual) rather than the target market as a whole. It identifies the individuals that have influence over potential buyers, and orients marketing activities around these influencers." (Influencer marketing - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia) http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Influencer_marketing
- "1. A power affecting a person, thing, or course of events, especially one that operates without any direct or apparent effort: relaxed under the influence of the music; the influence of television on modern life.
2. Power to sway or affect based on prestige, wealth, ability, or position: used her parent's influence to get the job." (Influencer - definition of Influencer by the Free Online Dictionary, Thesaurus and Encyclopedia.) http://www.thefreedictionary.com/Influencer - "Influence the Influencers. If you’ve hung around in PR circles you’ve heard this phrase. But what does it mean in today’s digital age?" Networking is pure pleasure.
Making time to relax is essential to enjoying life and being at your best when you are "working".
Make time to organize your thoughts and todo lists. Use Getting Things Done (GTD) and the like.
Singletasking can help.
Google Tasks are awesome. Especially using the Canvas interface.

What is Coworking - examples, articles, video
"Many work from home, while others, occasionally also referred to as nomad workers or web commuters utilize mobile telecommunications technology to work from coffee shops or other locations." (Telecommuting - Wikipedia
The difference from Telecommuting, in my opinion, is that Coworking is taylor made for entrepreneurs, startups, and home-based business owners.
"Coworking is a style of work which involves a shared working environment, sometimes an office, yet independent activity. Unlike in a typical office environment, those coworking are usually not employed by the same organization" (Coworking - Wikipedia)
Anyway...Don't get me wrong, coffee shops are a fantastic place to work, socialize and even stumble upon leads =:-) However, sometimes, you just want to get some work done. Or present to. or meet with, a client or prospect. So, where do you go if you do not have an office? Answer: rent a portion of time and space at a Coworking facilityTime: a desk for 1 day a week, 24x7 access to a desk/office, etc. Space: shared desk, full time open desk, full time permanent desk, a conference room, etc.
See examples of coworking (a.k.a. shared office space, Serviced office, Executive suite )..
