  • Apparently, Mozilla Labs has caught the fever, with "The Coop" (is that Co-Op, or a flock of fowls in a coop? =:^)
  • a Flock opinion of "The Coop"
  • My opinion: No way can "The Coop" be as innovative as flock. And even if it could be, they would be way behind on developing it.

Had a Linguistics class at Berkeley, with Ken Arnold, an author of rogue and curses...

A couple of days ago, after one of my kids asked for rogue, for his macbook, I told my kids that I had had a Linguistics class at Berkeley, with Ken Arnold, an author of rogue and curses. They have played rogue before, but at this recent mention of it, they all wanted to play rogue again, and again, and again. Now that we have replaced all but one of our PCs with Macs, we couldn’t find a mac binary, so they are playing a java version. For reference, we are using The Dungeons of Doom (e.g. Magical Items).
